What is Pinterest?

Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.

Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started go to and request an invite.  You have to already have a Facebook or Twitter account.  It is very easy!

Growing Stick

Made this growth chart ruler from 6ft x 1 ft pine board and black vinyl from
I used my Cricut for the numbers and just cut the bars with a blade and cutting mat.  I enlisted Hubby for the exact line placement, varnished it again, and waalllaaaa!

Folded Card

Here's my first try at a folded card.  I used Cricut Playtime and Classic.  This was a good way to use scraps since the items were small.

Now if I just had some creative words for it!  Any suggestions?  Thanks for looking!

Mother's Day Card

Here is a card I created using Cricut Storybook O: fancy corner, and X: accent frame.  The small hearts were from Cricut Classic, the yellow was Earth Elements Stampin Up, and edge cut Antique Creative Memories scissors.

WoW! Can't believe I'm learning to do this!

Hello everyone!  This is my first post.  I've been devouring the Internet to try to find ideas to craft with my new Cricut Expression.  That search led me to try to create my own here goes!

I was given an assignment for our Kiwanis Club to create a huge 3ft x8ft information board about a fundraising project.  Here is my huge creation!  The first pic is the left side and the other goes beside it for the right side. They will set on an 8 ft table with other stuff.....hence an 8 ft x 3 ft back board.
I used my Cricut to cut all the lettering, and also a shadow in black.  I also used my Cricut for the checkered edging on the sign and on the spinner wheel.
